Activating your account

Activate your new account with the invitation you receive by email, using your own password or your organisation's account.

Your administrator creates your account and sends you an invitation. Your account only becomes active once you use it.

Invitation with a password

  1. Open the email Start with Teamlead and click Get started.
  2. Fill in Password and Repeat password. Choose at least 8 characters (see Resetting or changing your password).
  3. Click Start. Your account is active and you are logged in.

Invitation to log in with your organisation (SSO)

  1. Open the email Start with Teamlead and click Get started.
  2. Click Log in with and the name of your organisation.
  3. Log in with your normal work account. Your account is now active.

Good to know

  • An invitation with a password is valid for 3 days.
  • Does your organisation log in with SSO? Then your account also becomes active the first time you log in via your organisation's login link (see Logging in to Teamlead).
  • As long as your account is not active, you do not receive emails about your schedule or leave.

Not working?

  • No email: check your spam or junk folder. Ask your administrator whether your email address is spelled correctly. An account manager can send the invitation again with Send invitation.
  • This link has expired. Please request a new one.: the invitation is older than 3 days. Ask your administrator for a new one.
  • This link is invalid. Request a new one.: your account may already be active. Try to log in (see Logging in to Teamlead). If that does not work, ask for a new invitation.
  • Still no email: if your organisation's mail server has rejected an email from Teamlead before, Teamlead no longer sends email to that address. Email support@teamlead.io; support can switch it back on. Also ask your IT department to allow email from teamlead.io.
  • If it still does not work after that, support can send you a temporary password (see Resetting or changing your password).
