What does the clock next to a name mean?

An alarm clock icon next to a name means the employee is scheduled for more hours that week than their contract hours.

Do you see a small alarm clock icon next to a name in the schedule? Then that employee is scheduled this week (Monday to Sunday) for more hours than the Contract hours on their profile. The row is then also lightly coloured.

What counts

  • Teamlead adds up all scheduled hours of that week, including leave and illness.
  • Unpaid breaks do not count; paid breaks do.
  • If no number is filled in for Contract hours, the icon does not appear.
  • If you hover over the icon, you see "Overtime".

How to fix it

  1. In the Week overview, check how many hours the employee has this week (see below).
  2. Is the schedule right, but the maximum is not? Adjust the Contract hours or the working times on the profile (Employees > name).
  3. Is lunch counted even though it is unpaid? Turn on Unpaid break for the break skill (Skills > break skill > Save).
  4. Do you put a mandatory day off in the schedule as a skill? That counts as working time. Use Settings > Holidays instead.
  5. Is the employee really scheduled for too many hours? Remove hours in the schedule and save.

Week overview

In the schedule, open the actions menu (three dots) and choose Week overview. For each employee you see the shifts for the whole week and the Scheduled hours, excluding unpaid breaks. Browse with Previous and Next; Today takes you back to this week. Hide employees without shifts keeps the overview short.

Good to know

  • The icon is a signal, not a block. You can still schedule the employee.
  • Automatically fill does not schedule more hours than the contract hours.
