Tracking, changing or withdrawing your leave request

This is how you see what happens to your leave request, and how you change or withdraw it.

Every leave request has two statuses. Review shows your planner's decision. Handling shows whether the leave is already in the schedule.

Tracking your request

  1. Go to Leave requests in the menu. You see your own requests from today onwards. You see older requests via the Period: filter.
  2. Look at the Review and Handling columns.
  3. Click the Period of a request to see the details. Your planner's response is under From the reviewer.

What do the statuses mean?

Status Meaning
To be reviewed Your planner has not decided yet.
Accepted Your leave has been approved.
Denied Your leave has not been approved. Look under From the reviewer for an explanation.
Withdrawn You withdrew the request yourself.
Not yet applied The leave is not in the schedule yet.
Schedule changed The leave is in the schedule.
Not needed Nothing had to change in the schedule.

Changing your request

You can do this as long as the status is To be reviewed.

  1. Open the request.
  2. Change the dates, times or note.
  3. Click Save.

Withdrawing your request

  1. Open the request.
  2. Click Withdraw.
  3. Confirm in Withdraw request. You see Request withdrawn.

Good to know

  • A withdrawn request stays visible, but is no longer reviewed. You can no longer change it.
  • Has your request already been reviewed? Then you can no longer change or withdraw it. Ask your planner to change or delete the leave.
  • Only your planner can delete a request.
  • If your planner reviews or changes your request, you receive the email Updated leave request. It says what has changed.
  • Accepted does not yet mean the leave is in the schedule. Also check Handling.
