Automatically fill schedules differently from the staffing template
Does Automatically fill schedule skills at different times or on different days than you expect? The staffing template is a guideline. Use flexible tasks for work without a fixed time.
Automatically fill fills all of the employees' empty work time and follows the staffing template as closely as possible. A skill at an exact time has to fit tightly. If that is not possible, Teamlead makes choices. Short skills in particular (an hour or less) then turn out differently.
How to fix it
- Does work need to be done at some point in the day or week? Make it a flexible task. Open the staffing template, choose Flexible tasks in the actions menu and click Add flexible task.
- Must a skill always be covered? In Skills, set the Priority for generating shift templates higher, for example to Critical.
- Schedule short fixed skills by hand in the shift template or schedule.
- Check the profiles: Teamlead only schedules assigned skills, within the work times and the Contract hours.
Good to know
- Existing shifts stay in place. Teamlead only fills empty work time.
- You cannot deliberately leave someone without a skill.
