Teamlead in Claude
Ask questions about your schedule in Claude. Add Teamlead as a connector and log in with your own Teamlead account.
With the AI assistant connection, you can ask Claude questions such as "What time am I working next week?". Claude only reads what you yourself are allowed to see in Teamlead and cannot change anything.
What do you need?
- An administrator has switched on the connection: Settings > Connections > AI assistant > Allow AI assistants > Save.
- A Claude account. On a free account, you can only add one custom connector.
- Do you use Claude Team or Enterprise? Then only the owner of the organisation adds the connector (steps 1 to 3). After that, everyone connects their own account from step 4 onwards.
- The connection address: https://mcp.app.teamlead.nl/mcp
- You do not need an API key.
How to do it
- In Claude, go to Settings > Connectors and choose Add > Custom connector.
- Name the connector Teamlead, paste the connection address and click Continue.
- Leave the detected settings as they are and click Add.
- Click Connect next to Teamlead. In the desktop app, then click Continue connecting.
- Log in to Teamlead with your own account, or via your organisation's SSO.
- On the Allow connection screen, click Approve.
- You see a confirmation. Close the tab.
- For the four tools, choose whether Claude may always use them (Always allow) or asks for permission for each question.
- In a conversation, switch on the Teamlead connector via + > Connectors.
What can you ask?
- "What time am I working next week?": your own shifts, breaks and skills.
- "Who is on the phones this afternoon?": everyone scheduled at your location on a given day.
- "Where are we short-staffed next week?": the required staffing compared with who is scheduled.
- Have it draft a handover, a swap request or a weekly summary based on the schedule.
Claude cannot see leave balances, contact details or absence reasons.
Good to know
- Claude can only read: Read your account and Read the schedules you can already see.
- Does Claude ask you to Reconnect after you have not used the connector for a long time? That is normal. Click it and log in again.
- If an administrator switches off Allow AI assistants, all existing connections stop as well.
- Do you want to have the connection revoked? Contact your administrator.
Not working?
- Connection not enabled: the connection is switched off for your organisation. Ask your administrator to switch it on.
- This request has expired: click Connect again.
- Not available for this account: log in with an account that belongs to your organisation.
- Closed the browser halfway through? Click Connect again.
- Claude knows who you are, but cannot see your schedule? Disconnect and create the connection again.
