Viewing and undoing schedule changes
View which schedule changes have been saved and whether employees have seen them, and revert a saved change if needed.
Teamlead records every edit you save on a published schedule day as a change. You can see these on the Schedule changes page and remove them again there.
Not saved yet? Undo
In the schedule, use Undo and Redo, or Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z (Mac: Cmd). This only works for changes you have not saved yet.
Viewing changes
- Go to Schedule changes.
- Use the filters Period: (from today by default), Employee: and Status: (Unopened or Opened).
- For each row you see Employee, Date, Time and Change: the old and the new skill. A blue dot means the change has not been read yet.
- Need more columns? Use Columns to also turn on Created by, Created at, Location, Notified at or Viewed.
- Click a row for the details: Was and Becomes, who made the change, whether the employee got an email and whether they have viewed the change.
Reverting a saved change
- Open the change and click Delete. Confirm with Delete.
- Several at once? Tick the rows in the overview and choose Delete.
For that time slot, the schedule goes back to what was there before the change: the shift template or, with continuous scheduling, the published schedule.
Good to know
- A moved shift usually gives two changes: one at the old position and one at the new position. Delete both to put everything back.
- Changes in a shift template and on days that have not been published yet do not appear on this page.
- Employees only see their own changes and cannot delete them.
- Anyone who opens the Schedule changes page marks the changes in the list as read for themselves. Whether the employee has seen a change is shown in the details.
- An employee does not get a message when you delete a change. Let them know yourself.
